Vascular Melasma

Melasma is increasingly being seen in treatment clinics with ever new manifestations. It is then important to recognize the disorders taking place in the skin and provide appropriate treatment for them. For example, recently the literature describes the so-called "vascular melasma." In addition to signs of sun damage and hyperpigmentation, we see an increase in blood flow in and around the spots. The latter can be seen as red dilated vessels both in blotchy form and in branched form. To treat this particular form of melasma, we need not only a suitable pigment laser (Picolaser) but also a suitable vascular laser.

Parisa Skin Clinic works closely with Dr. David Njoo in Amersfoort for this purpose. Skin therapist Parisa Jahangard uses the KTP 532 diode laser. This vascular laser can easily be combined with the Picolaser of Dr. David Njoo. Through this cooperation, the treatment of this particular form of melasma is safe and effective. Skin therapist Parisa Jahangard works both in Amersfoort and Zaandam.
